If you are a WellChoice member who lives outside of New Jersey or certain New York counties, you may choose a healthcare provider from Beech Street's national provider group depending on your health plan. WellChoice members who live in New Jersey or New York can also access BeechStreet providers when traveling in the United States outside New Jersey or New York, depending on your health plan.

WellChoice HMO and PPO members may access a BeechStreet Provider when outside NJ or outside the following NY counties: Albany, Bronx, Clinton, Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Essex, Fulton, Greene, Kings, Montgomery, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Rensselaer, Richmond, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, Warren, Washington and Westchester. WellChoice will reimburse medically necessary covered services from these providers on an in-network basis. Remember, HMO members can access a BeechStreet provider for urgent or emergent care only. The terms of your benefit contract will govern the availability of covered services.
